Elizabeth Chyle Holloway:
Elizabeth Chyle Holloway was born about 1931 to Jessie Lee
Cooksey (1888-1974) and Walter Jacob Chyle (1877-1963). She is
one of six children as follows: Howard Earl Chyle, Herbert
Chyle, Walter Jr. Chyle, James Garland "Tonnie" Chyle & Lena
Chyle Blewett.Elizabeth married Frank "Bill" Holloway on
May 26, 1950, in Auburn and have two children, James Allen
Holloway (1960-1991) & Katherine Holloway Taylor.
Bill Holloway's siblings are: Hubert, Jack, Mary Elizabeth
(David Taylor) Rogers, Virginia Holloway Cash, Doris
Holloway McChesney & Gertrude Holloway Call. They are the
children of Catherine Hubbard & Curtis Eugene Holloway.
Elizabeth was a career substitute clerk at the post office.
That is the position she commanded at the time of the official
opening of the new post office in 1967.
