Irene
Neal was born in 1889 and died in 1971. She is buried beside her
father and mother in Section H of the Auburn Cemetery.
Irene and her great friend, Cola Turner, set
up business together in Auburn in the store that was once part of the Coke
Chevrolet building, three doors down from the Woodman of the World
building that is presently owned by Jimmy Burgher, where he has is TV &
Appliance shop.

On their retirement a Mr. Rudolph Wright
opened up a Dry Goods store - this was prior to Jimmy Burgher setting up
shop. Irene was an only child of James E. Neal and Loula Lockett.
