This Service Station was operated by R. F. Robertson. This site is located where the Ambulance Station on East Main Street, Auburn. R. F. Robertson was born on June 10, 1918 and died Feb. 19, 1989. R. F. was the son of Lorel Bivin & Winford Robertson and the brother of Jo Reid, Kenneth Payton, Pauline, Dorothy Jean & Shirley Ann Robertson.

(2) Hanks Service Station   (Charles Hanks) (Location - across from Dip on East Main Street)
            International Truck Dealer, Dunlop Truck - Tractor Tires
                  Phone 143 - Auburn, KY 

                The Auburn Times of February 12, 1932 reports that Charlie Hanks (b. 1900 - d.1985) - a mechanic at Coke
                Chevrolet  moved to Auburn. Accompanying him at the time was R. H. Tate - a miller at Auburn Roller Mills.
